the foundry
Who you surround yourself with changes who you become.
Leadership can be isolating.
The further you progress, the fewer places there are to have candid conversations with people who understand the weight, complexity, and responsibility that come with leading others.
The Foundry was created to be one of those places.
An invitation-only leadership community, The Foundry brings together accomplished and emerging leaders from different industries, roles, organizations, and walks of life—united by one thing: The desire to be better.
Built on the Power of Proximity
There is something powerful about being in the right room with the right people.
Different industries bring different perspectives. Different experiences challenge familiar assumptions. Different leadership roles reveal possibilities we may never see from inside our own organizations. That diversity is intentional.
The value of The Foundry does not come from everyone facing the same circumstances. It comes from leaders bringing different experiences to the same conversation and helping one another see more clearly because of it.
engagement at a glance
The Foundry is a leadership community designed to create the trust, continuity, and shared accountability required for meaningful growth.
MEETING CADENCE
Once each month for 10 months
SESSION LENGTH
Approximately 75–90 minutes
FORMAT
Virtual
COMMUNITY SIZE
Typically, 4–10 leaders from different industries, organizations, roles, and stages of leadership
MEMBER COMMITMENT
Members are expected to participate consistently, prepare for each gathering, bring real leadership experiences into the conversation, engage candidly with others, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to the growth of the entire community.
HOW TO JOIN
Prospective members may express interest in a future circle. A brief conversation follows to explore goals, expectations, and mutual fit. Invitations are extended intentionally to create the right mix of perspectives, experience, trust, and willingness to contribute.
More Than Networking
The Foundry is not a networking group, a lecture series, or another leadership class. It is a place for the conversations leaders often do not have anywhere else. The difficult decision. The challenge without an obvious answer. The situation where experience matters more than theory.
You bring real leadership issues into the room, test your thinking against the perspectives of others, and leave seeing your challenges—and yourself—differently.
Because sometimes the most valuable leadership perspective does not come from the person at the front of the room.
It comes from the person sitting across from you.
What proximity makes possible
We are shaped by the challenges we face, the experiences we accumulate, and the people we allow close enough to challenge our thinking.
Proximity matters.
Surround yourself with people who think differently, challenge honestly, pursue excellence, and expect growth—and over time, you change too.
The right people. The right conversations. The willingness to be better.

-
The Foundry is an invitation-only leadership community that brings together accomplished and emerging leaders from different industries, organizations, roles, and backgrounds. Members learn from one another through candid conversation, shared experiences, perspective, challenge, and accountability.
-
The Foundry is for leaders who are serious about continuing to grow and who value learning alongside other thoughtful, accomplished people. Members may be at different stages of their leadership journey, but they share a willingness to contribute, learn, challenge assumptions, and help others become better.
-
That diversity is intentional. Leaders often spend most of their time surrounded by people who work in the same organization, industry, or environment. The Foundry creates access to perspectives and experiences leaders may not encounter otherwise. Different circumstances often reveal different possibilities.
-
The Foundry is not primarily a course or classroom experience. It is a leadership community. While there is structure and intentional development throughout the experience, much of the learning comes from the people in the room - their experiences, questions, challenges, perspectives, and willingness to engage honestly with one another.
-
Sessions combine leadership discussion, practical reflection, shared experiences, and real leadership challenges. Members have opportunities to examine situations they are navigating, hear perspectives from other leaders, explore different approaches, and apply what they learn to their own leadership.
-
No. In fact, the opposite is part of the design. The Foundry intentionally brings together leaders with different experiences and perspectives. The common denominator is not industry or title - it is a commitment to becoming a better leader.
-
The quality of the experience depends heavily on the people in the room. The invitation process helps create a community of leaders who are willing to contribute, be candid, learn from others, challenge their own thinking, and invest in the development of the group.
-
Yes. Candid leadership conversations require trust. Members are expected to respect the confidentiality of the experiences, challenges, and conversations shared within the community.
-
Leadership growth rarely happens through a single conversation. The value of The Foundry comes from continued proximity to strong people, repeated exposure to new perspectives, ongoing reflection, and accountability over time. The goal is not simply to leave each session with an idea, but to allow those experiences to influence how you lead.
Invitation Only
The Foundry is intentionally curated to protect the quality, diversity, trust, and depth of the community.
